Behind Château La Perrière, there is a woodland play area where children can make their own dens, play in teepees or a simple game of hide and seek.
Although fires are not allowed in the Loire Valley during the summer months, you could always take a picnic and see if a deer comes running by!
Leaving the formal parkland containing chestnuts, tall limes, and featuring scores of specimen trees, there are paths leading directly from the chateau providing walks of discovery, meandering through the trees and shrubs.
There are also a limited number of bicycles available on request should you fancy exploring further.
